The British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) is the industry body for the UK private equity and venture capital industry. Its membership of well over 400 members represents the overwhelming number of UK-based private equity and venture capital firms and their advisers.
The European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association
The European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EVCA) is a member-based, non-profit trade association and was established in 1983 and is based in Brussels. With 1,200 members, EVCA represents, promotes and protects the interests of the European private equity and venture capital industry.
The National Association of Investment Companies
The National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) is the financial industry association for private equity firms that invest in an ethnically diverse marketplace. NAIC membership comprises private equity firms that are either owned by ethnic minorities or firms whose primary strategy is to invest in underserved markets defined as the “Emerging Domestic Markets” (EDM). Founded in 1971, NAIC is based in Washington, D.C.
The Association of Asian American Investment Managers
The Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM) was founded in 2006 in San Francisco, California, to serve as a bridge between Asian American investment professionals and institutional investors such as pension funds, endowments and sovereign wealth funds. AAAIM, works to foster collaboration and partnerships between its members and large institutional investors.
